Bobo and I visited one of the coolest stores I've ever been to this weekend, From the Source.

They specialize in sustainable furniture that looks both unique and natural.

The firm is based in both Indonesia and the United States. Their factory in Indonesia partners with more than 50 different artisans and designers there. Many of the furnishings are "crafted by master artisans in Indonesia using reclaimed, vintage, salvaged and plantation-grown hardwoods."

We, however, visited their 25,000 sq foot design studio and warehouse in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. They also have two stores in New York City.

Bobo bought her kitchen table and 4 chairs and a coffee table from them. And, although the designs are stocked and ready-to-go, they’re handmade using raw materials from nature, so no two are exactly alike. Which is why we visited on this beautiful Saturday afternoon, so she could pick out the coffee table she liked the best. I personally think she got the best one!!

I like From the Source because they have amazing, unique designs, but also because they are a sustainable company. They embrace new ideas and designers which results in a product line that is always changing.
